COHVCO

COHVCO logo smallThe Colorado Off Highway Vehicle Coalition (COHVCO), works to keep public land open to motorized recreation. COHVCO represents all forms of motorized toy’s including ATV’s, side-by-sides, off road motorcycles, 4×4’s and snowmobiles.

The HRR club uses part of the membership fee to pay for you a membership in COHVCO.  The club also provides additional financial support to COHVCO annually.

Working to protect access to public lands for motorized users, COHVCO works with and makes presentations to, legislators, public land managers and legal teams.  When necessary, COHVCO also enters into legal proceedings on behalf of motorized recreation.

With only one employee, (all other officials are volunteers), COHVCO is the main advocate for motorized recreation in Colorado. Some members of the High Rocky Riders serve in various official capacities with COHVCO.

Anti-motorized groups such as the “Quiet Use Coalition” and “Colorado Backcountry Hunters and Anglers”, (a member of “Trout Unlimited”), and others, have stepped up legal attacks on motorized recreation throughout Colorado.

Please consider making a contribution to COHVCO. Your “Right-To-Ride” is at stake.
