Several members of the High Rocky Riders are volunteers with the Chaffee County Search and Rescue (CCSAR) team and perform a valuable service to the community and its visitors.
Colorado state law requires each machine used off-road to have a current OHV sticker. A portion of the sticker fee is used to support and operate CCSAR. Additionally, if you need to be rescued by Search and Rescue, having a vaild sticker will allow CCSAR to be rembursed for the expense of the rescue operation.
Chaffee County Search and Rescue is divided into two parts. CCSAR North and CCSAR South.
